As brokers pitch yacht charters as providing all the amenities of a four star resort, yachts and staff must tailor their services to fulfill the clients’ wishes then exceed their expectations. Picture it as a high price game of keeping up with the Joneses. Currently there has been a large trend with spa getaways. To fit this new trend some hotels have contracted high profile spas to be located on premises, for example in many W hotels you may find Bliss Spa. The obvious solution for yacht charters is to have staff already on board to be trained in massage therapy and other spa services.
However, as anyone who has had bad spa treatments before can tell you, the spa technician makes all the difference. So do you really want to give a client who knows what a four star massage and facial feels like, a treatment from a steward who learned the procedures in a week long seminar?
