Two Sacks Group charter yachts -- the 84' Monte Fino "Lady Di" and the 75' Hatteras "Sheer Bliss" -- served a sumptuous lunch to charter professionals today at Bahia Mar. Here's the WaterCooler report from Natalia Rodriguez.
The Sacks Group charter team led by Allison Cecilio and Jordanna Joffe presented a unique lunch today at Bahia Mar, on board two of their popular charter yachts. Captain Ted Cranshaw of the 84' Monte Fino "Lady Di" welcomed industry professionals with a lovely array of appetizers prepared by guest Chef Marysarah Vernon, who graciously explained the delicacies on display. From an impressive selection of sushi, sashimi and hamachi stackers, she walked me over to the hot hors d'oeuvres, where my favorites included the cashew chicken squares, tenderloins and truffled cheese with asparagus and scallions wrapped in bacon and very pretty lobsters in a cream puff. With over 20 years of experience, she certainly knew how to please every palate.
The second host yacht was the 75' Hatteras "Sheer Bliss" where Captain Chad Wright introduced us to the lunch prepared by Chef Jim Ruch, known by some as "The Singing Chef". We didn't experience his vocal talents, but his culinary skills delighted everyone. A variety of light salads was perfect for the still warm Floridian weather, and his fresh bread creations were heavenly. I am still longing for another bite of the warm focaccia with olives, onions and rosemary. Events like this are a fabulous way for charter professionals to become acquainted with the yachts. Lady Di and and Sheer Bliss are beautiful and both are available for Holiday charters through the Sacks Group.
