Specialty papers add shine to holiday cards and invitations

As the holidays near, experimenting with specialty papers is a great way to become familiar with the fabulous range of possibilities out there. This month we met with two of our paper gurus, Betty Taylor from Mac Papers and Marnie McGlathery from Neenah Papers who updated our treasure chest of samples with beautiful metallics, rich colors, and subtle textures.

We have already began to use these, and our newest brochure, currently on press, will showcase a very special cover in a heavy metallic stock along with two metallic inks, embossing and foil stamping. These special effects and materials can be fun to try on holiday projects like custom cards and greetings, and may be the inspiration for other unique promotions throughout the year such as special invitations.

The two invitations shown here were created by Laser Advertising for special events hosted by The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals and Yacht Blue. Each invitation sets the tone for upscale celebrations, showing that both of these companies know that first impressions count.
