STIDD unveils new Fusion upholstery at boat show

The ever-popular STIDD brand of ergonomic marine seating debuted their new Fusion line of upholstery at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The Stidd booth  is eye-catching with a spectrum of colorful chairs on display. Fusion has a contemporary matte surface and color choices that will satisfy a wide range of design choices. Fusion is comes in 16 colors plus six neutral tones and is available for all STIDD models. According to the manufacturer, Fusion is earth-friendly, PVC-free, and contains an antimicrobial component to meet the demands of today's boater.

Our clients have long considered the inclusion of STIDD helm chairs an asset to their vessels. At the high end of the luxury yacht market, most owners choose premium leather or C.O.M. (customer's own material) with upholstery selection by the yacht's interior designer.

New Ocean Ridge website launched

Ocean Ridge has launched a brand new website to coincide with their new marketing campaign kicking off at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Laser Advertising designed and produced the web site to coordinate with the new promotional materials also unveiled at their boat show display in the main gate entry tent 104-106. The display includes a high-definition video plus seven additional screens all showing Blu-ray presentations. Hill-Robinson USA boat show kick-off party

Hill-Robinson USA hosted a lively 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show kick off party last night at Gilbert's 17th Street Grill. There was a big crowd of industry people but the venue was never crowded. Shown above are Natalia Rodgriguez of Laser Advertising catching up with Captain Roy Simpson. The passed hors d'oeuvres were delicious, satisfying and just kept coming. The seemingly never-ending variety included seared tuna, grilled lamb chops, mozzarella with tomatoes and artichoke, fresh fruit skewers and the always popular meat balls. Hill-Robinson has hosted successful parties in their offices but this time took advantage of Gilbert's restaurant since the turn out for this event would be too large to be comfortable. Office open houses are always a lot of work (no matter how successful) and Gilbert's proved to be an excellent choice. If you haven't had a chance to try Gilbert's you'll find it in the same building as Hill-Robinson in former Camille's location and is open for lunch and dinner. Hill-Robinson is an independent yacht management company with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Antibes, UK and Germany.

Julianne yacht brochure

The 80-foot Northern Marine JULIANNE will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and represented by Kevin Merrigan of Northrop and Johnson, Florida. JULIANNE has been profiled in both ShowBoats and Yachts International magazines and has received excellent reviews. Now offered for sale, the yacht will be available for viewing by appointment with Northrop and Johnson. Laser Advertising designed and produced this sales brochure which will be distributed at the show next week.

Boat Show Kick-Off Party Video

Tracy and Charles attended the Marine Industries Association of South Florida's boat show kick-off party last night. Held at the private hangar of Gold Aviation, the event featured a display of private aircraft, classic cars and boats. In celebration of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show's 50th anniversary MIASF put together a presentation of classic show moments. This low-resolution video was shot by Tracy with a small Canon Power Shot A720 and edited with iMovie so it is not up to Laser Advertising's professional standards. As guests we just wanted to have a good time and enjoy the party and made this little video as a memento of the event. The hors d'oeuvres by 360° Catering were superb (the cheese selection was awesome); the bar was sponsored by Lauderdale Marine Center (thank you so much); and the crew of the MIASF did a great job all around. The hangar itself was one of the most brilliantly clean spaces I've ever been in; thankfully the lights were toned down after the introduction. We had fun catching up with John and Kathy Phillips of Antibes Yachtwear, our old friends  Ronda and Fritz Kramer, Colleen Deverteuil of AGYG, and Frank Herhold, executive director of the MIASF.

Fisherman's Cove Post Card Hot Off the Press

Located just 55 minutes south of Miami at Mile Marker 104 is a Florida Keys paradise: Jimmy Johnson Fisherman's Cove. This colorful oversized post card measures 11 inches by 6 inches for maximum impact. This new post card promotion was designed by Laser Advertising in conjunction with Maura Brassil of Nautilus Marketing.

Behind the scenes: Atlantic Marine Jacksonville video

With the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show looming on the horizon October 29 through November 2, 2009 Laser Advertising is wrapping up the final footage for Atlantic Marine's high-definition promotional video. The completed video will be on display at the Atlantic Marine display in the Yacht and Builder's Tent, booths 719-720. The new video will showcase the megayacht services provided by Atlantic Marine. Located in Jacksonville, Florida Atlantic Marine provides maintenance, repair, overhaul and conversion for megayachts.

On Location: Block Island, Rhode Island

This high-definition video was shot on location on Block Island in the summer of 2009 by Charles Datlen. Laser Advertising went to Block Island to cover a private owner's rendezvous over the course of a long weekend.
