Boat Show Kick-Off Party Video

Tracy and Charles attended the Marine Industries Association of South Florida's boat show kick-off party last night. Held at the private hangar of Gold Aviation, the event featured a display of private aircraft, classic cars and boats. In celebration of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show's 50th anniversary MIASF put together a presentation of classic show moments. This low-resolution video was shot by Tracy with a small Canon Power Shot A720 and edited with iMovie so it is not up to Laser Advertising's professional standards. As guests we just wanted to have a good time and enjoy the party and made this little video as a memento of the event. The hors d'oeuvres by 360° Catering were superb (the cheese selection was awesome); the bar was sponsored by Lauderdale Marine Center (thank you so much); and the crew of the MIASF did a great job all around. The hangar itself was one of the most brilliantly clean spaces I've ever been in; thankfully the lights were toned down after the introduction. We had fun catching up with John and Kathy Phillips of Antibes Yachtwear, our old friends  Ronda and Fritz Kramer, Colleen Deverteuil of AGYG, and Frank Herhold, executive director of the MIASF.
