Climbing aboard an inflatable can be awkward. Wouldn't it be nice if there were something to hold on to?
A friend has invited me aboard his boat, Broccoli, and the only thing between it and us is an inflatable dinghy. Being careful not step too far to the left or too far to the right, or on anyone or anything else I leap from the dock... Climbing aboard an inflatable can be awkward and uncomfortable for some. Wouldn't it be nice if there were a railing or something to hold on to? That's exactly what the minds at Ding-ez have come up with! Their "Step-Aboard Boarding Rail" provides a safe and easy method to climb aboard any recreational inflatable under 15'. The rail, constructed with rugged stainless steel, is installed near the center of the vessel, going from one side to the other and arching in between. It comes in three strengths: Regular, Heavy duty, and Extra heavy duty. After installation it quickly snaps on and off in seconds, making it easy to use and stow. This current model works best when boarding from the side, but in spring 2010 Ding-ez plans to release a Bow boarding system.
