Show Overview: Newport International Boat Show 2009
The Newport International Boat Show took place this past weekend on September 17th through 20th in Newport, RI. Located in the harbors of historic Newport, the show featured a large display of both power and sail boats, with multiple tents and land exhibits. Ticket prices range from $8 on pre-order tickets to $18 when bought the day of. Similar to other shows, the bracelet permits attendees to come and go as they please allowing visitors to discover all that Newport has to offer. If you cannot pull yourself away from the show there are plenty of food stands, bars and restaurants located within the show. Among the usual attendees brokers, buyers, and sellers were students from area boat building and sailing schools. Listening to their commentary on different boats and products provided an interesting view on things at this years show.
