Hot off the Press: Ocean Ridge at Staniel Cay

When dreaming of a tropical paradise, everything imaginable is in the Exumas chain of islands in the Bahamas; and this paradise is real. Crystalline water a thousand shades of blue, unbelievable diving, fishing, snorkeling, and endless beaches. On the friendly island of Staniel Cay, Ocean Ridge offers beachfront residential parcels with private marina facilities.

As part of the new promotional campaign for Ocean Ridge, Laser Advertising designed and printed this post card which launches the campaign this summer.

In-water boat show report: Bay Harbor, Michigan

The Boat Show with no Tent • Charter Yacht Acquisition • Best in Show: The Hinckley Company
The Bay Harbor Boat Show is a boat show with a small town feel. This year's event was held on father's day weekend, June 20-21 in Bay Harbor, located on the shores of Lake Michigan between Petoskey and Charlevoix. All of the vendors and many of the patrons knew each other, creating a warm atmosphere. Boat show attendees were some of the most enthusiastic I have ever seen at a show, and the exhibitors were more than welcome to accommodate them. Each boat had at least one tour going on them at a time, making this the liveliest of smaller shows.

Vacation destinations recommended by Rikki Davis

In preparation for the summer charter season, Rikki Davis Yacht Charters at Churchill Yacht Partners wanted to let their clientele know what yachts are available in destinations worldwide. To stimulate and focus client interest, Laser Advertising designed a direct mail piece that coordinates with our client's "Destination Luxury" theme.

Hargrave tropical-themed charter brochure

This playful, tropical-themed charter brochure was designed by Laser Advertising for the 92' Hargrave motor yacht Lady De Anne. Our creative responsibilities included typeface selection, layout, stock photography, and copy writing. Original illustration by Laser Advertising included redrawing and coloring the deck plans to clearly identify guest areas and key features. Captain Mitch Armstrong worked with us on the project. Interior photos by Dana Jinkins, exterior photos by Mike Whitt, stock photos selected by Laser Advertising.

Motor Yacht Never Enough

When the 140' Feadship-Devries completed a refit in 2007 and joined the charter fleet, Laser Advertising designed and produced a coordinated promotional campaign that included a glossy 12-page brochure, web site and video. The owner chose to have a video composed of short sequence of aerial running shots to show the  boat's performance underway. This unscripted video ran with background music on the web site of Never Enough. The photo to the left shows Never Enough on the Intracoastal Waterway at Pier 66 in Fort Lauderdale. Time Warp: Father's Day 1996

On Father's Day 2009, we've gone back to the archives and dusted off this Father's Day themed project from 1996. Laser Advertising designed and produced a large number of advertising and direct mail campaigns for Lucayan Beach Resort and Casino in the Bahamas.

Back in the days before the TSA, we could -- and did -- fly commercial to Grand Bahama for just the evening. One could take an after work flight from Fort Lauderdale, land on Grand Bahama island, and fly home again that same night. At Lucayan Beach one could have dinner, see a show, check out the casino, and still be home in time for a good (if rather short) night's sleep. At the time, it wasn't remarkable. While it was a bit more exotic than a typical night on the town it was a rather economical evening out considering everything that it included.

Westport 130 hull #4001 launch post card

Hot off the press: Westport yachts is announcing their latest launch with a Fourth of July flair. Since the post card was planned to be mailed at the end of June and in recipients' hands by the holiday, Laser Advertising created a design that would coordinate with the holiday. The flag motif is more than a holiday tie-in. Westport yachts are designed and built in the U.S.A. Westport yachts operates three shipyards in their home state of Washington: Westport, Port Angeles, and Hoquiam. An additional cabinet shop facility is located in Port Angeles. Westport yachts builds composite yachts in 98-foot, 112-foot, 130-foot, and 164-foot models.
